A whole lot less than it was when I was running a business affairs department at a media company. I’m the black sheep who strayed onto the road less traveled.
It's obvious that you're black. And you continue to insist you're a sheep, which makes sense given your thesis and the schools you attended, considering the article on Excellent Sheep to which this article diverted me --- an article I found more interesting than this one. It was probably the alternated article that I quoted. I wonder. At any rate we have a literal black, but metaphorical sheep. The paradox is those who take the less travelled roads are supposed to be individualists more than herd animals.
The trouble with asking so-called "Socratic" questions of modern folks is that nobody provides answers. They're always looking for the suspected "trap" in the question. I was simply wondering whether or not you will ever get out of debt given the numbers you cited in your Excellent Sheep article. Hey! There it is. I was citing the excellent Sheep article. Talk about your basic WANDERING AROUND phenomenon.
[ "When I graduated from Princeton in 1984 and Harvard in 1991, tuition, room and board cost $142,000. Today, the combined cost is more than $550,000. By the time my 11-year old son is ready for college, the tab will probably be $1 million. How many families have that kind of cash? " From you Excellent Sheep article. ]
Was that 142 thousand for the degree or for one year toward a degree.?

Apologies for not seeing/answering your question earlier. The combined cost of college and law school was $142K. Thankfully, I've whittled down most of my debt and should be clear in a few years. But it's been a 35-year process...

And that has made all the difference.
(The Road Not Taken, 16-20)
